All Instructional Technology Collaborators are required to successfully complete an intensive summer training. For those ITCs hired to start in August, the position is contingent upon their ability to participate in our 8-day training program. ITCs hired to start in January are, likewise, required to complete training. January-hire training is limited due to time but all January-hires will complete the full 8-day training program in August prior to the next academic year. ITCs who have previously completed the 8-day training program are required to join the team in their completion of a week-long (i.e., last 5 of the 8 days) program.
Throughout the academic year, ITCs participate in ongoing training during their shifts and as a team at staff meetings. Topics are determined based on identified areas of need.
