SALSA, or Southside Area Libraries Sharing Access, is a local consortium consisting of Central Virginia Regional Library branches (Farmville and Buckingham), Hampden-Sydney's Bortz Library, and Longwood University's Greenwood Library.

You can place holds from books and other items from different libraries and have them delivered to your home library.  For example, you can check out a book from CVRL and have it delivered to Greenwood Library for pickup.  Books are delivered and picked up once a week.  Borrowing rules are different for your status so if you are a Longwood student, you cannot borrowing a book from the public library for the same amount of time you can borrow a book from Greenwood.  Please pay attention to due dates when you received your items or check the due date on your library account online.
